Enhance your innate ability to be aware. Learn techniques to strengthen this awareness.
This 6-week curriculum developed by the Mindfulness Training Institute will give you a good taste of fundamental mindfulness practices. You will be guided through a research-based course that has been taught by hundreds of teachers in more than 30 countries for nearly a decade.
This course is appropriate for beginning and advanced meditators. All ages, genders, ethnicities and religions are welcome. There will be talks, guided meditations, and discussions. The course is sequential; students are requested to commit to the entire 6-week series before registering. Class size is limited to 15 students. Chairs will be provided.
This six-week introductory training in mindfulness will teach you to develop a focused and embodied attention, self awareness, emotional intelligence, and greater sense of ease and well being. You will learn a variety of mindfulness meditations and practical ways to integrate mindfulness into daily activities at work, home and in relationships.

There is a growing body of scientific evidence and acceptance of mindfulness as a method with many benefits for health and well-being. Practicing mindfulness offers significant potential support for your employment, relationships, and happiness.
Kelli Schonher invites you to share her love of mindfulness. She has been practicing in the Insight Meditation tradition for almost 30 years. She is a certified mindfulness instructor through the Mindfulness Training Institute, which is an accredited program with the International Mindfulness Teachers Association.
In 2017, Kelli graduated from Mark Coleman’s two-year Awake in the Wild Mindfulness Teacher Training program and has completed Spirit Rock's Advanced Practitioners Program 2019-20.
She holds a MA in Economics from University of Washington ('95) and a BA in South East Asian Studies and Economics from University of Wisconsin-Madison ('92).
